If you have read any books of swami vivekananda, you already know the level at which he was, yet such outstanding mind had deepest of feelings for poor souls like us, the explanations he gave were super detailed and thought provoking.

Karmayoga was the first book that I picked in my childhood, my father was initiated by Great monk and 15th president of Ramkrishna Mission, Swami Atmasthananda, he brought all the spiritual things to my mind in the early age, I used to read about swamiji, lahiri mahashaya, yogananda, sadhguru, premanand maharaj.

Karmayoga was the book that really enlightened me, made me challenge my thinking, I was bit of idealist, but even I found that my thoughts were very childish, if I would go in deep, follow trails of all the thoughts to their conclusion, it never made any sense, but when I started reading swamiji, I found that my methods are very selfish, if I had to really go behind truth, I should leave no stone unturned, think about all possibilities and read from greatest of books, listen to greatest of minds and know what is the correct way

Though it was very difficult for me to get convinced about karma, and how every action has a fruit but we don’t have the right to call it ourselves, all we have in our hand is to perform the duty given to us and not bother our minds looking for its results, because your karma will bring about the exact fruit that it deserves, what more is that troubling ourself with that thought is just a waste of time, instead in that time we could move ahead with more actions and bring more results, but not wish for anything.

This is the law of karma, work with your 100% efforts but do not let the desire for the fruits of action be your motive. Let not your attachment be to inaction.” This profound statement by Swami Vivekananda encapsulates the essence of the law of karma. According to him, we should engage in actions without being attached to the outcomes.
